Statement by Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom
The statement affirms that, as members of NATO, the countries are committed to strengthening Arctic security as a shared transatlantic interest. Participation in the pre-coordinated Danish exercise “Arctic Endurance“ responds to this necessity. The statement notes that the exercise poses no threat to anyone. The countries stand in full solidarity with Denmark and the people of Greenland.
