Goals and results
The aim is to achieve positive impacts in the long term in order to increase the immigration of skilled labour. Government proposal for the entry into force of the working holiday agreement.
Starting points
The need to promote the mobility of young people and knowledge of culture in the contracting countries and, in the long term, to promote the immigration of skilled labour.
Increasing mutual understanding between the contracting countries.
The negotiating delegation was appointed on 5.9.2019. Negotiations on the content of the working holiday agreement with South Korea have been completed and the agreement is expected to be signed during summer or autumn 2025.
