  2. 23.4.2026 | On 23 April 2026, the Government submitted amendments to the Act on Electronic Communication Services for approval. The amendments apply to equipment that interfere with radio communications, so-called jammers. The act is scheduled to enter into force on 1 July 2026.

In 2024, some 130,000 people aged 15 to 79 living in Finland copied music and 616,000 video material. Altogether, 709,000 people copied music or video material, which is less than in 2023, when the number was 755,000.
