  5. 31.3.2022 | In future, EU COVID-19 vaccination certificates used for travel purposes will remain valid until further notice for those under the age of 18 who have completed the full primary vaccination series (usually two doses). COVID-19 vaccination certificates for adults expire when 270 days, i.e. about nine months, have passed from the last dose of the primary vaccination series. As of yet, no acceptance period applies to certificates issued following the administration of booster doses.

  17. 16.4.2021 | On 16 April, the Government amended the decree on voluntary COVID-19 vaccinations. The amended decree will specify Finland’s current order of priority for COVID-19 vaccination.   19. 25.4.2024 | Amendments have been made to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health Decree on Vaccinations and to the Government Decree on Voluntary COVID-19 Vaccinations in order to allow dentists, senior pharmacists, pharmacists, practical nurses and biomedical laboratory scientists to administer vaccines in future.   20. 9.9.2021 | The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health together with the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment and the Ministry of Justice has prepared a government proposal on the nationwide use of the EU Digital COVID Certificate, or the so-called COVID-19 vaccination passport.
