Finland became a member of NATO on 4 April 2023. As a member of NATO, Finland must accede to other NATO agreements within 12 months of the deposit of Finland’s instrument of accession. One of these agreements is the Agreement on the Status of Missions and Representatives of Third States to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (Brussels agreement)
