The international agreementregarding a disclosure requirement related to genetic resources aims to enhance the efficacy, transparency and quality of the patent system with regard to genetic resources and associated traditional knowledge.

24.3.2022 | In its plenary session on 24 March 2022, the Government adopted a resolution on the national intellectual property strategy. The relative contribution of all copyright industries has slightly increased during the years under examination; while in 2016 this contribution was 5.44 percent, the respective figure for 2020 was 5.69 percent.

Enligt visionen har Finland år 2030 en IPR-miljö som stödjer innovationsverksamhet och kreativt arbete på ett effektivt sätt och som ökar den ekonomiska välfärden och konkurrenskraften med beaktande av de grundläggande fri- och rättigheterna och olika sociala intressen.
