Prime Minister Stubb to the EU's Eastern Partnership Summit

Prime Minister Alexander Stubb will participate in the Eastern Partnership Summit of the EU to be held on 21-22 May in Riga. Goals of the Eastern Partnership include the promotion of stability and democracy in the EU's eastern neighbourhoods. The partner countries are Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

In conjunction with the Summit, a dinner will be organised for Foreign Ministers. Finland will be represented at the dinner by Terhi Hakala, Director-General of the Department for Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, deputising for Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja.
