Minister of Transport and Communications Lulu Ranne has invited Maaria Wallin (M.Sc., M.A.) to serve as her Special Adviser.
Wallin will be responsible for digital, data and cyber matters as well as for communications networks. She will support Minister Ranne in questions relating to aviation and the space situational awareness centre.
Her responsibilities will include media relations.
Wallin transferred to her post from the Ministry of Justice, where she served as Special Adviser to Minister of Justice Leena Meri. She has previously worked as a consultant, trainer and researcher in the aviation and security sectors.
She took up her post on 16 May 2024.
