Employment Service Statistics and Employment Bulletin from Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment to KEHA Centre

Starting on 1 March 2025, the Development and Administrative Services Centre (KEHA Centre) will be responsible for the Employment Service Statistics. The statistics contain key data on unemployed jobseekers, job vacancies and public employment services. Until now, it has been the task of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment to maintain, develop and communicate about them.
In future, the KEHA Centre will also be responsible for the monthly Employment Bulletin, which is based on the Employment Service Statistics. The Bulletin describes recent labour market developments throughout the country.
Transferring the Employment Service Statistics and the Employment Bulletin to the responsibility of the KEHA Centre is part of a wider development plan whereby the agency's role in the provision of national level information on employment services and on the promotion of immigrant integration will be strengthened. It is based on the TE24 reform, which transferred the tasks of Employment and Economic Development Offices (TE Offices) to the employment areas formed by municipalities as of the beginning of 2025. The role and tasks of the KEHA Centre were also changed as part of the reform. In addition to the Employment Service Statistics, the KEHA Centre is now responsible for assessing and monitoring the effectiveness of employment and integration services.
Starting in March 2025, the Employment Bulletin can be found in the new statistics and analyses section of the Job Market Finland website maintained by the KEHA Centre. The same information will be available on the KEHA Centre's own website.
