Matias Ollila and Hannes Torppa appointed as Special Advisers to Minister of Economic Affairs

Minister of Economic Affairs Mika Lintilä has appointed Master of Social Sciences Matias Ollila and Bachelor of Administrative Sciences Hannes Torppa as his Special Advisers. Ollila will take up his duties on 17 June with industrial policy and communications as his responsibilities, while Torppa will start in the position on 1 July, focusing on energy policy.

Matias Ollila currently works as political communications specialist for the Centre Party. Prior to that, he was head of unit at Vamos of the Deaconess Foundation and project coordinator at the ELY Centre of Southwest Finland. 

Meanwhile, Hannes Torppa is currently employed as training manager at FCG Finnish Consulting Group. Previously, he was assistant at the University of Vaasa and aide to an MP.

In addition to Ollila and Torppa, Mari Kokko will continue as Special Adviser to the Minister of Economic Affairs, with responsibility for entrepreneurship, innovation and regional policy. Ann-Mari Kemell is State Secretary to Minister Lintilä.
