The consultation on the draft decision on a national general export authorisation has ended, and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs is finalising the decision.

On 20 September–14 October 2024, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs consulted exporters on the draft decision on a national general export authorisation, which would facilitate exports to certain countries. That draft decision proposes to allow export of items specified on the national control list annexed to the new Act on the Export Control of Dual-Use Items by way of notification to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

The Ministry would like to thank all respondents to the consultation. It will look into the comments received before finalising the decision.

The Foreign Ministry is providing exporters the opportunity to express their opinion on the comments until 28 October 2024. The comments subject to consultation are available from the Export Control Unit. Please contact us by email at [email protected] or by telephone on +358 295 350 943.

This service by publication was published on the website of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs on 16 October 2024, and the service is considered to have been effected on the seventh day after the publication.
