In the web environment, accessibility means that the web service is accessible to all people as easily as possible.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs regards the requirements of the act as a good basis for equal communication and aims to fulfil them.

An accessibility analysis has been conducted on the Finland abroad service. The technical corrections emerged there are still under way in autumn 2019. The Department for Communications will continue to develop its content, which will bring results in the longer term.

Other Ministry for Foreign Affairs websites and attachments and videos will be on the agenda next year. The accessibility requirements for them will enter into force in September 2020.

The accessibility statement has been published on all Finland abroad websites.
