Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen to visit Greece
Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will travel to Greece on 26–27 May. During her visit, Foreign Minister Valtonen will meet Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs George Gerapetritis in Athens on 27 May.
The foreign ministers will discuss bilateral cooperation between Finland and Greece, European security and other current foreign and security policy issues.
“Greece is an important EU and NATO partner for Finland and plays a key role in the eastern Mediterranean. The visit will provide a good opportunity for exchanging views on European security, among other topics,” says Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen.
Minister Valtonen will also meet Finnish businesses operating in Greece, and Greek technology, innovation and start-up players.
