Four glossaries updated in Government Termbank Valter

The Translation and Language Division of the Finnish Prime Minister’s Office has published updates of four glossaries in the Government Termbank Valter: the Government Agencies and Public Bodies glossary, the Finnish Government Glossary, the NATO Glossary, and Parliament’s update of the Finnish Parliamentary Glossary.

The new edition of the NATO Glossary was updated with nearly a hundred new concepts and now contains around 340 entries (more on the NATO Glossary). 

The NATO Glossary and the Government Agencies and Public Bodies glossary are also available as PDF files under Glossaries and guidance on the website of the Finnish Government. 

The contents of Government Agencies and Public Bodies and the Finnish Government Glossary have also been published as open data on the avoindata.suomi.fi website.
