Indonesian Minister of Housing Suharso Monoarfa to visit Finland
Indonesia's housing minister will visit Finland on 7–10 March. Minister Monoarfa is interested in the Finnish housing support policy, particularly with regard to the financing models for construction and support for owner-occupied housing. In addition, Minister Monoarfa will become acquainted with climate-friendly construction and wood construction. Among the locations visited by the delegation will be the Housing Finance and Development Centre of Finland (ARA) and ecological residential areas, such as Eco-Viikki in Helsinki.
On Tuesday, 8 March, Minister Monoarfa will meet with Finland's Minister of Housing Jan Vapaavuori. At the meeting, the ministers will discuss support and financing systems for housing, among other issues. On Wednesday 9 March, Minister Monoarfa will meet with President Martti Ahtisaari.
