Juuso Kilpinen appointed to serve as Special Adviser to Prime Minister Orpo in EU Affairs

Prime Minister Petteri Orpo has invited Juuso Kilpinen to serve as his special adviser at the Prime Minister’s Office. He will be responsible for EU affairs. Kilpinen took up his duties on 3 February 2025.
Juuso Kilpinen comes to his post from the European Court of Auditors, where he served as an attaché in the cabinet of Member of the Court of Auditors Petri Sarvamaa. Kilpinen has previously worked as a policy adviser in the European Parliament and as an adviser to a Member of Parliament.
He holds a Master’s degree in social sciences from the University of Helsinki.
Kilpinen will be deputising for Elisa Tarkiainen until 31 December 2025.
