Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys to visit Finland
Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Kęstutis Budrys will visit Helsinki on 11 February and meet Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen.
The Foreign Ministers will discuss the bilateral relations between Finland and Lithuania and regional cooperation. The meeting agenda includes topical foreign and security policy issues, including support for Ukraine, responding to hybrid threats and Finland’s Chairpersonship of the OSCE.
“Lithuania is a close partner to Finland, and our relations are excellent. It is important to discuss regional security and wider foreign policy issues bilaterally on a regular basis. It is good that we additionally often meet in different regional formats,” says Foreign Minister Valtonen.
During his visit to Helsinki, Minister Budrys will also meet President of the Republic Alexander Stubb and Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen.
