President and Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discuss China, the United States and Middle East, and GPS signal disruption

On Tuesday 29 January, the President of the Republic and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discussed topical affairs concerning China and the United States. Finland stresses the importance of a multilateral rule-based system and the active role of the EU, both in the transatlantic relations and in the China policy.

The President of the Republic and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy also received an update on the current situation in the Middle East, especially the conflicts in Syria and Yemen.

Also on the agenda were measures by different authorities relating to GPS signal disruption.
