Prime Minister Sipilä's statement regarding the terrorist attack in Kuwait

Prime Minister Juha Sipilä has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Kuwait today, claimed to have been carried out by a group affiliated to ISIL.

"I wish to express my condolences to the families and friends of the victims, and to the Government of Kuwait. The international community must do its utmost to counter ISIL, and Finland is part of these efforts."
