Prime Minister Juha Sipilä will participate in the Northern Future Forum (NFF) in Reykjavik on 28 and 29 October. The Forum brings together the Prime Ministers of the Nordic countries, the Baltic states and the United Kingdom. This year, they will discuss the growth potential of creative industries and the reform of public services.

This is the fifth time now that the Northern Future Forum brings the prime ministers and business leaders and experts of nine countries together for an open discussion in an informal setting. Last year, the Forum convened in Helsinki to talk about how to create new, innovative business activities and improve competitiveness of education systems.

- This year's themes are very topical from the Finnish perspective. I look forward to the discussions with my colleagues and sharing new ideas on how to address the challenges that we face in northern Europe, Prime Minister Juha Sipilä says.

The Finnish delegation to the meeting, led by Prime Minister Sipilä, comprises representatives of the Finnish Immigration Service and Ministry of Education and Culture, and of Enevo, Noona Healthcare, Sitra, Touchpoint and Yousician. The opening and closing plenary and the press conference can be followed live on the NFF website at nff2015.is.

During his visit, Prime Minister Sipilä will also attend the Nordic Council Session in Reykjavik.
