Saara Pokki appointed Special Adviser to the Prime Minister in EU Affairs

Prime Minister Sanna Marin has invited Saara Pokki to serve as her Special Adviser in EU Affairs from 12 August 2022.
Pokki comes to her position from her previous post as Special Adviser to Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Tytti Tuppurainen in EU Affairs, which she has held since December 2021.
Pokki has previously worked as Policy Adviser for the Socialists and Democrats Group in the European Parliament, as Policy Assistant to a Member of the European Parliament and as a public affairs adviser. She holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Leuven.
