At the presidential session on Friday 11 October, the President of the Republic decided to accredit Ambassador Pekka Hyvönen, Head of the Embassy of Finland in Rabat, to represent Finland also in Mauritania.

In addition, the President of the Republic authorised Counsellor for Foreign Affairs Pertti Ikonen, Roving Ambassador for the Caribbean based at the Ministry, to represent Finland also in Saint Lucia.
