At the presidential session on Friday 18 October, the President of the Republic decided to accredit Ambassador Pirjo Suomela-Chowdhury, Head of the Embassy of Finland in Lusaka, to represent Finland in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

On the same occasion, the President of the Republic decided to end Ambassador Pekka Hukka’s side-accreditation to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
