Swedish Foreign Minister to attend Hanalys foreign policy forum in Finland

Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard will visit Finland on 10 February. Minister Malmer Stenergard has been invited by Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen to attend the Hanalys foreign and security policy forum in Hanaholmen on 10 February.

Hanalys is an annual high-level foreign policy forum between Finland and Sweden held at Hanaholmen Cultural Centre in Espoo.

The ministers will also hold bilateral discussions, where the topics will include Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and other topical foreign and security policy issues.

“It is a pleasure to welcome my Swedish colleague to Finland. We’re in frequent contact, as is only to be expected with our closest partner country. I also wish to thank the Hanaholmen Cultural Centre, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, for once again providing an outstanding setting for foreign and security policy dialogue,” says Foreign Minister Valtonen.
