The project was launched with a seminar on 8.11.2023 and a consultation round that ended on 8.1.2024. After an event organised by the Minister of Employment on 16.1.2024 the working group on 1.2.-31.5.2024, consultation procedure 4.6.-30.7.2024

Starting points

According to the Programme of Prime Minister Petteri Orpo's Government "to boost Finland’s long-term competitiveness, the Government will strengthen the export-driven labour market model. Provisions will be laid down in the Act on Mediation in Labour Disputes so that the general level of pay adjustments cannot be exceeded by a settlement proposal issued by the National Conciliator’s Office or a conciliation board."
