10.12.2024 | Key information processing skills needed by Finland’s adult population (aged 16 to 65) in different areas of life were assessed in the Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC). The survey focused on literacy, numeracy and adaptive problem-solving skills. By international standards, Finland ranked at the top in literacy and numeracy skills.

The winner of the competition was Crowdsorsa mobile game that has already helped fight against invasive alien species in Finland on a total of 4 million square metres. 13.3.2025 | On 13 March 2025, Finland’s Minister of Transport and Communications Lulu Ranne and Norway’s Minister of Transport Jon-Ivar Nygård signed an agreement in Oslo, Norway, on taxi transport services between the Republic of Finland and the Kingdom of Norway. The agreement permits taxi transport services between Finland and Norway.

15.7.2024 | The Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council (EPSCO) will meet in Brussels on 16 July 2024.
