The Government will negotiate on the General Government Fiscal Plan for 2027–2030 in its spending limits session on 21–22 April 2026. The negotiations will take place at the House of the Estates in Helsinki.

Security situation
Finland’s security environment changed when Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022. Finland is not facing an immediate military threat, but the Government and the authorities are continuously monitoring the situation and assessing how it may evolve. Finland is well prepared for different kinds of crises and incidents.

Prime Minister’s announcements and Government’s replies to interpellations
The Prime Minister may deliver a verbal announcement to Parliament on an aspect of government business. Members of Parliament submit an interpellation to the Government or a minister, to which the Government replies.
