Ministerial working group on preparedness.

In its plenary session on Thursday 10 March, the Government appointed a Ministerial Working Group on Preparedness. Its mission is to guide the preparedness operations related to the impacts of Russia’s attack on Ukraine. 

The tasks of the Ministerial Working Group are 

  • to form a comprehensive picture of the impacts of the crisis
  • to assess the impacts especially on the economy and security of supply 
  • to agree on the launch of measures and allocation of resources.

The Working Group is chaired by Minister of Finance Annika Saarikko. The members are Minister of Economic Affairs Mika Lintilä, Minister of Employment Tuula Haatainen, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Jari Leppä, Minister of Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Ville Skinnari, Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Tytti Tuppurainen, Minister of the Environment and Climate Change Emma Kari, Minister of Social Affairs and Health Hanna Sarkkinen, Minister of Justice Anna-Maja Henriksson and Minister for Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto. The General Secretary of the Working Group is Lauri Kajanoja, Economic Policy Coordinator at the Ministry of Finance.
