Prime Minister Sanna Marin has invited Master of Theology Niilo Toivonen to serve as her Special Adviser. Toivonen will be responsible for the Prime Minister’s parliamentary affairs. He will take up his duties on 24 January.
Toivonen has previously served as Special Adviser to Deputy Speaker of Parliament Antti Rinne, as Coordinator at the Prime Minister’s Office and Political Adviser to the party leader at the office of the Social Democratic Party.
