Benina Uotinen appointed to serve as Special Adviser to Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Strand

Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Joakim Strand has invited Master of Political Science Benina Uotinen to serve his Special Adviser at the Prime Minister’s Office.

Uotinen is transferring to the post from Parliament, where she served as Parliamentary Assistant to Minister of Education Anders Adlercreutz. She has previously worked for the European Parliament, Finland’s Permanent Representation to the UN in Geneva and the Digital and Population Data Services Agency. 

Uotinen will assist Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Strand in duties within his remit. Uotinen took up her post on 20 January 2025.
