Minister of Defence Häkkänen to attend informal meeting of EU defence ministers

Finland's Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen will attend an informal meeting of EU defence ministers in Warsaw, Poland, on 2-3 April 2025.

Ministers will discuss the European Union's military support for Ukraine, exchange views on possibilities to deepen defence industry cooperation between the EU and Ukraine as well as on cooperation with NATO and other partners.

Over working lunch, the ministers will discuss the White Paper on the future of European defence and the ReArm Europe plan, which provides the EU member states with economic means to increase their investment in defence capabilities.
