Prime Minister Juha Sipilä will visit the XXIII Winter Olympics in PyeongChang in South Korea from 17 to 22 February. During the visit, Minister Sipilä will meet South Korea's Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon and Park Won Soon, the Mayor of Seoul. The premiers will discuss, for example, the bilateral economic relations between Finland and South Korea and the regional situation.
The Prime Minister will travel together with his wife Minna-Maaria Sipilä. During the visit, they will meet Finnish athletes and cheer them on in various events and matches.
