On 6 December, Finland will have been independent for 107 years. Independence Day is for everyone, both adults and children. The children’s Independence Day celebration was held on 4 December at the National Opera House. Prime Minister Petteri Orpo invited two children born in 2014 from each municipality of Finland to take part in the celebration. The theme of this year’s celebration was ‘You are not alone’.
