Sonja Hällfors appointed as Special Adviser to the Minister of Economic Affairs

Minister of Economic Affairs Mika Lintilä has appointed Sonja Hällfors as his Special Adviser. Hällfors, who will be in charge of entrepreneurship, innovation and regional policy matters, will start in the position on 8 August.

She will take a leave of absence from her current job at Finance Finland. Hällfors has previously worked for the Centre Party Parliamentary Group and the Party Office as well as at Suomen Kuntoutusyrittäjät. Hällfors holds the degree of Master of Philosophy.

Matias Ollila and Hannes Torppa will continue as the Minister’s Special Advisers. Ollila is responsible for industrial policy and the Minister’s communications while Torppa is in charge of energy policy. Ann-Mari Kemell is State Secretary to Minister Lintilä.
