Beneficiaries of temporary protection have the right to work in Finland without any restrictions. After receiving their municipality of residence, they will become customers of local government pilots on employment.

After receiving their municipality of residence, beneficiaries of temporary protection can become customers of local government pilots on employment.

The municipal employment services can direct beneficiaries of temporary protection to other services in the municipality or wellbeing services county, such as health and social services. The right to employment-promoting social services is based on the provisions promoting integration and social welfare.

If a municipality does not have a local government pilot on employment, those beneficiaries of temporary protection who look for work, need help in finding employment or wish to learn Finnish during integration training, will be customers of the TE Office.
