Estonian Chief of Defence to visit Finland

The Commander of the Estonian Defence Forces, General Martin Herem, will pay working visit to Finland on 11 April. The visit will be hosted by the Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Timo Kivinen.

The topics to be discussed during the visit include defence cooperation between Finland and Estonia and the state of military coordination of NATO membership.

The visit programme includes an introduction to the Navy's activities in the Coastal Brigade.

During his visit, General Herem will also meet Minister of Defence, Antti Kaikkonen.
