Commander of the Finnish Army, Lieutenant General Pasi Välimäki made a working visit to the Allied Land Command (LANDCOM) of NATO in Izmir, Turkey, on 13 November 2025.

During the visit, topical issues relating to the NATO land component were discussed including the structuring of the MCLCC NW located in Mikkeli, and Lieutenant General Välimäki participated in operational planning as Commander of MCLCC NW.
