Under-Secretary of State Anttonen leads a trade mission to Romania and Bulgaria

Under-Secretary of State for External Economic Relations Matti Anttonen will lead a Team Finland trade mission to Romania and Bulgaria on 4­−7 April 2016.

He will be accompanied by a delegation consisting of representatives from 13 companies. The aim of the visit is to find new cooperation opportunities between Finnish companies and organisations and their Romanian and Bulgarian counterparts, to promote the business activities of Finnish companies that have already established operations in these countries, as well as to increase awareness of Finnish enterprises in the country.

"Romania and Bulgaria are emerging markets and a part of the EU's internal market. For Finnish companies, these countries offer opportunities in the fields of agriculture, environmental technology, energy and ICT solutions," says Under-Secretary of State Anttonen.

Finnish companies' projects will be promoted in meetings at ministerial and company levels and in networking events. In both countries, Under-Secretary of State Anttonen will meet ministers and high-level colleagues representing a number of different sectors. In Romania, discussions will be held in, among others, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Energy, and the Ministry of Health; in Bulgaria, meetings will be organised at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, and the Ministry of Interior as well as at deputy prime minister level. Anttonen will also meet representatives of business life in both countries.

The following 13 companies will participate in the trade mission: Ecomond Oy, Enersense Ltd, Fineko Green Technologies, Fortum Corporation, Gemalto Oy, JTP-industria Oy, Kometos Oy, Maaselän Kone Oy, M-Files, Patria Land Systems Oy, Solomon Oy, Triotec Oy, Valmet Technologies Oy.
