At their meeting, the foreign ministers will discuss Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, the Sahel and Sudan.
Finland considers it important that the EU continue its strong and united response to Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine. In particular, the pressure on Russia must be increased through sanctions and measures targeting the shadow fleet, for example. At the same time, it is important to ensure that the EU continues its strong support for Ukraine.
An EU–Indo Pacific Ministerial Forum and the Palestine Donor Group meeting a high-level conference on aid for Palestine will be held in connection with the Foreign Affairs Council.
The foreign ministers will also meet their counterparts from the Western Balkans and ASEAN countries.
