Finland donates to the Estonian Aviation Museum a Hawk Mk 51 jet trainer which is decommissioned from the Finnish Air Force. The museum has received donations from Switzerland, Sweden, Poland and Ukraine in the past.
The Hawk 51 aircraft which will not be upgraded will be phased out by the end of 2016. The single aircraft to be donated to Estonia will be chosen from among these aircraft.
The donation will enhance cooperation between Finland and its neighbouring countries in accordance with the Government programme.
