French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner to Finland
Bernard Kouchner, Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, will visit Finland on Monday, 24 August. Kouchner will give a presentation at the annual meeting of the Heads of Missions organised by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and will have bilateral talks with Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb.
The main items on the agenda of the foreign ministers’ discussion are topical EU issues, such as the economic and financial crisis, climate and energy issues, and the EU’s role in solving them. Also on the agenda are preparation for implementation of the Lisbon Treaty and topical issues in international politics.
