The Finnish Immigration Service (Migri) has changed its policy and will now be issuing residence permits for work or study to holders of Palestinian passports.
Finland will accept passports issued by the Palestinian Authority for residence permit applications. Going forward, Finland will treat Palestinian passports in the same way as national passports, as has been the case since 1995. Passports issued by Hamas in Gaza will not be accepted as national travel documents, as has been the case up to now.
More information is available on the website of the Finnish Immigration Service.
