Prime Minister Marin to speak with several EU leaders

On Wednesday 29 September, Prime Minister Sanna Marin will attend a video meeting with the President of the European Council and the leaders of four other EU Member States.

The meeting is in preparation for the informal meeting of EU leaders on Tuesday 5 October and the EU-Western Balkans summit on Wednesday 6 October. Both meetings will be held in Slovenia, which currently holds the EU Council Presidency.

Today’s small group session, convened by President of the European Council Charles Michel, will also be attended by the Prime Ministers of Slovenia and Greece, the President of Lithuania and the Chancellor of Austria. President Michel is organising similar meetings for other groups of countries.
