Prime Minister Orpo to address European Parliament

Prime Minister Petteri Orpo will speak at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Wednesday 13 March. Prime Minister Orpo’s speech and discussions with Members of the European Parliament are part of the “This is Europe” series of debates, where EU heads of state or government are invited to discuss the current state and future of the EU.

Prime Minister Orpo will also have a bilateral meeting on Wednesday with President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, and will meet for discussions with Finnish public officials. On Tuesday 12 March, Prime Minister Orpo will meet with Finnish Members of the European Parliament, Commissioner for Transport Adina Vălean and Chair of the European People’s Party (EPP) Group Manfred Weber. 

Prime Minister Orpo’s speech and the debate after it will be streamed live and made available as a recording on the European Parliament’s website.
