Prime Minister Sipilä to Berlin

On Tuesday 22 September, Prime Minister Juha Sipilä will visit Berlin and have meetings with Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and Federal Minister of Finance Wolfgang Schäuble.

The meeting between Prime Minister Sipilä and Federal Chancellor Merkel will focus on key EU-issues such as migration, economic issues, security and defence issues, and Ukraine and Russia.

The EMU, Greece and national economic and employment policy reforms will be on the agenda in the meeting between Prime Minister Sipilä and Federal Minister Schäuble.

Prime Minister Juha Sipilä will also meet German economic policy experts in Berlin.

Joint press conference of the Prime Minister and the Federal Chancellor can be followed live in German at approximately 14.45 Finnish time (13.45 local time) and viewed later as a recording on the website of the Federal Chancellery.
