Foreign Minister Soini and Sweden’s Foreign Minister Margot Wallström to discuss foreign and security policy cooperation

Minister for Foreign Affairs Timo Soini will meet Sweden’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Margot Wallström in connection with the Hanalys Conference on cooperation in foreign and security policy matters, organised at Hanaholmen, Espoo, on 6 September 2017.

The topics of their bilateral discussions will include the security policy situation in the Baltic Sea, Russia, deepening of the foreign and security policy cooperation between Finland and Sweden as well as cooperation related to the European Union’s Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP).

In addition to their bilateral meeting, the Foreign Ministers will attend the Hanalys Conference at the Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre Hanaholmen. Minister Soini will hold the opening address of the Conference and Minister Wallström, for her part, will give the concluding remarks.
