Foreign Minister Valtonen to attend Munich Security Conference

Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will attend the Munich Security Conference in Germany on 13–14 February. At the conference, she will speak at a high-level event on comprehensive security.

In connection with the conference, Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will meet representatives of the German Bundestag and US foreign policy leaders. She will also have other high-level bilateral discussions on topical foreign and security policy issues. 

“Changes in the international operating environment require the ability to find new solutions both in Europe and globally. The Munich Security Conference will be an excellent opportunity for discussions with our allies and partners on identifying these solutions. Strengthening European security will continue to be our priority,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Valtonen.
