Minister Harakka attends a meeting of EU telecommunications ministers
On Tuesday, 5 May 2020, Minister of Transport and Communications Timo Harakka will attend an informal video conference of EU telecommunications ministers.
The meeting will focus on the possible use of COVID-19 mobile applications and anonymised data. It will also discuss how the digital sector could efficiently impact the post COVID-19 recovery in the EU.
Items on the agenda also include measures to incentivise investment in the deployment of very high-capacity broadband across Europe.
