Permanent Secretary Anita Lehikoinen retires

Anita Lehikoinen, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Culture, will retire on May 1, 2025.

Lehikoinen was appointed Permanent Secretary for the first time in 2013 and joined the Ministry in 1989.

During her career, Lehikoinen served 14 governments. Under her leadership, significant reforms were implemented both in the Ministry's various sectors and in its internal operating practices.
