Polish Prime Minister Tusk to Finland
The Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, will visit Finland on Wednesday, 10 October, on the invitation of Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen. The premiers will discuss key EU issues, including the development of the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU), economic policy coordination, the EU's future and the development of the internal market. The premiers will also discuss cooperation among the Baltic Sea states, energy issues and bilateral relations between Finland and Poland.
During his visit, Prime Minister Tusk will also meet the Speaker of Parliament, Eero Heinäluoma. Prime Minister Tusk will be accompanied by the Polish Secretary of State for European Affairs Piotr Serafin.
